    Virtela Names New CEO
    Denver-based managed network services provider Virtela Communications Inc. reported Tuesday that Steven R. King will serve as its next president and chief executive officer. King will also join the company's board of directors. Previously, he was president and CEO of ZANTAZ Inc. Before that, he held several executive roles at E*Trade Group Inc., ultimately becoming CEO of the online broker's E*OFFERING business. King has also held senior management positions at the Thomas Corp. and Ziff-Davis. In 2006, he received Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award, Virtela added.
