iLinc Shops Audio Conferencing Business for $4.1M

Phoenix-based Web conferencing software developer iLinc Communications Inc. announced Monday that it has sold the majority of its audio conferencing assets for $4.1 million in cash. Specifically, iLinc said it sold its reservationless and operator-assisted audio conferencing business to Premiere Global Services Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of audio conferencing services. iLinc said it will continue to offer audio conferencing services to its customers as a Premier Global reseller. iLinc explained that the move is part of the company's revised focus of becoming a software-as-a-service provider rather than a conventional software publisher.
