    Alianza Joins WiMax Group
    Hosted voice communications software provider Alianza Inc. revealed Monday that it has been accepted as a member of the WiMAX Forum and will join its Applications Working Group. The WiMAX Forum is non-profit organization comprising more than 500 companies with the aim of promoting and certifying standards-based, interoperable WiMAX products, which have been designed to deliver wireless broadband services to residential customers and businesses. Alianza said its PowerPlatform will give WiMAX service providers a high-quality voice application that will function across WiMAX spectrum ranges. Alianza is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
