    Valen Signs Insurance Firm

    Denver-based Valen Technologies, a publisher of predictive analytics software for the property and casualty insurance industry, revealed Tuesday that the Lincoln General Insurance Co. has selected Valen software to assist with its day-to-day operations. Specifically, Valen said Lincoln General is using Valen's UnderRight predictive analytics application, as well as Valen's Enterprise Data Warehouse, to improve the pricing accuracy of Lincoln's underwriting process for its commercial trucking business. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed.
