    EchoTech Wireless Acquired By Silicon Valley Firm

    Streakwave Wireless Inc., a value-added distributed of wireless broadband solutions, announced Wednesday that it has acquired EchoTech Wireless LLC, a wireless connectivity reseller and distributor headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Streakwave, EchoTech's management team and personnel will remain in Salt Lake as an additional global distribution and logistics center. Streakwave will continue to operate from its headquarters in San Jose, Calif., the company noted. Ryan McKenzie founded EchoTech Wireless in 2005.
