    Range Fuels Grabs $100M In Series B Funding

    Broomfield, Colorado-based Range Fuels said this morning that it has raised $100M in a Series B round of funding. Range Fuels said the round was led by Passport Capital, and also included BlueMountain, Khosla Ventures, Leaf Clean Energy Company, and Pacific Capital Group. Advanced Equity Incorporate and Morgan Stanley acted as placement agents for the financing round. Range Fuels said the funding would go to developing a cellulosic ethanol plant in Soperton, Georgia.
