    Q Therapeutics Gets Investment

    Salt Lake City, Utah-based Q Therapeutics, which is developing treatments for central nervous systems diseases, has received an investment from California-based Invitrogen, a provider of life sciences technology for the pharmaceutical market. Amount of the investment was not disclosed for the minority investment. Q Therapeutics is developing treatments for CNS diseases and other neurodegenerative diseases, including multiple sclerosis (MS), transverse myelitis (TM) and Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). Q Therapeutics has previously received venture capital from EPIC Venture Fund, Tucan Capital, and vSpring Capital.
