    Revinetix Swizzles Execs

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Revinetix, a developer of backup software, said Monday that it has appointed Thomas Hogan as the firm's CEO, in addition to his current role as President. Hogan replaces Steve "Max" Ackerman, founder and CEO of the firm, who is becoming Chairman and Chief Scientist. According to the firm, the move was made to "best leverage its resources and enhance support for the company's continued growth." Revinetix develops disk backup software and appliances, and is backed by angel investment groups Grow Utah Ventures, Olympus Angels, Ogden Angel Investors, and Cache Valley Venture Accelerator Club.
