    Revinetix Upgrades Clinics' Archive

Revinetix Inc., a provider of data archiving systems and services, reported earlier this week that it has been chosen to replace Wasatch Pediatrics' legacy tape backup system. The financial impact of the service agreement was not disclosed. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Wasatch Pediatrics comprises 46 physicians working from eight offices in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit and Wasatch counties. Revinetix explained that Wasatch Pediatrics needed a company to assist its transition to electronic health records and to modernize its archiving system. Revinetix develops disk-to-disk (D2D) backup systems used by companies to more quickly back up data than with tape. Angel-backed Revinetix is also headquartered in Salt Lake City.
