NewsGator Rolls Facebook App Denver, Colorado-based NewsGator Technologies said Tuesday that it has rolled out a new application for the popular social networking site Facebook. NewsGator said that its NewsFriends application allows people to discover and share blogs, news, video, and podcasts. The company said that the new application allows friends to see and subscribe to their friends' favorite blogs and web sites from their Facebook profile. Facebook is an online social networking web site, which recently opened up an application programming interface (API) which allows other companies and individuals to create applications for the site. NewsGator develops RSS (Really Simple Syndication) readers used to monitor news, blogs, and other information feeds. posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2007
