    Peak Devices Acquired By Triquint
TriQuint Semiconductor, a manufacturer of wireless communications products, revealed Tuesday that it has agreed to purchase Peak Devices Inc. of Boulder, Colorado. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, TriQuint said it expects the cash transaction to close within the quarter. Founded in 2000, Peak Devices is a privately held fabless semiconductor manufacturer that produces radio frequency discrete transistor technology for two-way communications, FM and television broadcast, telecommunications, avionics, radar and military devices. Headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore., TriQuint Semiconductor specializes in the production of gallium-arsenide-based devices and has manufacturing facilities in Oregon, Texas, Florida and Costa Rica.
