    Global Energy Decisions Acquired By Ventyx

    Boulder, Colorado-based Global Energy Decisions, a provider of software, data, and advisory services for the electric utility industry, has been acquired by Atlanta-based Ventyx. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ventyx said Thursday that it acquired Global Energy Decisions to create a complete product offering for the electric utility industry. Global Energy Decisions was purchased from Quadrangle Group, a private equity firm; Ventyx is backed by Vista Equity Partners. Harris Williams & Co. advised Global Energy Decisions in the deal.
