    Umbria Adds Research Scientist
    Umbria, a Boulder, Colorado-based firm providing blog research and market intelligence drawn from online user-generated content, said today that it has added a research scientist focused on natural language processing to its team. The firm said that Professor Christer Samuelsson, Ph.D. has joined the firm's science team to focus on research into profiles and motivation of online social media participants. The research will be incorporated into Umbria's analysis products. Samuelsson joins an existing team, led by Dr. Nicolas Nicolov, who was most recently at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center.
