    GlobeImmune Appoints VP

    Louisville, Colorado-based GlobeImmune has added a new VP, saying Monday that John Frenz, Ph.D., has joined the firm as Vice President of Operations. Frenz joins the firm from Genentech, where we was most recently Senior Director, Product Portfolio Management. GlobeImmune is developing biopharmaceuticals targeted at cancer and infection diseases. Teh firm currently has a product in Phase 1b trials for chronic hepatitis, and a treatment for early-stage pancrease cancer in Phase 2 trials.
