    Revinetix Adds Customer In Texas

    Salt Lake City, Uta-based Revinetix has signed on a new customer for its disk to disk backup appliances, saying that it has signed Corpus Christi, Texas based Del Mar College as a customer. Del mar will replace its tape backup solution with the Revinetix Sentio backup appliance, the firm's disk to disk backup product. The install covers 40 servers running Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac operating systems, and is used for video streaming, web hosting, print and file sharing. The install covers up to 8TB of backup capacity. Revinetix is developing appliances used to replace tape drives with disk.
