Accera Raises $7.5M Broomfield, Colorado-based Accera has raised $7.5M in a Series B round, the firm said Wednesday. Accera is developing drugs focused on treating Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative diseases. Funding was led by Inventages Venture Capital SA, and also included POSCO BioVentures and other investors. As part of the funding, Wolfgang Reichenberger, Ph.D. of IVC Americas SA joins the firm's board. Accera said that the funding would go towards it Phase II clinical trial of its Age Associated Memory Impairment compound, along with completion of a Phase IIb trial and its drug discovery program. posted on Thursday, August 17, 2006 (Link to more information)
