    NewsGator Buys SmartFeed, Goes Mobile

Denver, Colorado-based NewsGator has announced a new move into mobile devices, saying that it will start providing RSS aggregators for Windows Mobile and J2ME-enabled devices. The new products are based on SmartRead and SmartFeed, which the company announced it had acquired recently. SmartFeed and SmartRead's developer, Kevin Cawley, has joined NewsGator to oversee the development of mobile products for the company. Cawley had developed the applications late at night at his Boulder home. Terms were not disclosed.
