    Farmers Taps Clear Technology

    Clear Technology, a Westminster, Colorado-based provider of claims processing software, said yesterday that Farmers Insurance has selected the firm to provide automation software for its medical and personal injury protection claims processing. Farmers will deploy Clear Technology's software to reduce its processing costs and improve processing capacity. Financial terms were not disclosed. Clear Technology developscase handling software for automating business workflow. Clear Technology is backed by BV-Cornerstone, Shoreline Venture Management, Sycamore Ventures, and Vawter Capital.
