Denver-based SpotXchange said this morning that it has launched a brand new, programmatic API for video advertising, which meets the OpenRTB specification. SpotXchange said its new api and support make it easier for its customers to help publishers and advertisers in the market. OpenRTB is an open standard which a number of online advertisers have agreed on, to make it easier for advertisers and publishers in the online advertising market; the standard is now being sponsored by the IAB. SpotXchange offers a video advertising platform aimed at premium publishers, and is led by Mike Shehan.
