Salt Lake City-based SpinGo--which is backed by a number of Utah angel investors--said today that it has added 76 new partners this month from the new and media industry, to help bolster its event listings service. SpinGo develops a service to help website and app developers display information on events going on in an area--crowdsourced from users and event promoters. The startup, which is backed by such investors as Rick Alden of Skullcandy, Alan Hall of Mercato Partners, Josh James of Domo, Todd Petersen of Vivint and Greg Warnock of Mercato Partners, said it now is providing human-verified content for more than 1.8 million events. The company said that such partners as KSL, the Los Angeles Times, and others are using its calendar software and event listings.
