Spectra Logic, a developer of data-archiving and backup servers, has launched a new product line that caters to video editing and broadcast environments, the company reported this week. The new servers, which utilize SATA hard drives in a RAID configuration, have been divided into three price points: nTier500, nTier700 and nTier900. According to Spectra, the trio will grant post-production and movie studios with speedy access to their archived media. Founded in 1979, Spectra Logic is headquartered in Boulder.
