UNIX and mobile technology software developer The SCO Group Inc. reported Wednesday that a national Italian foods distributor has adopted an SCO application for processing remote sales orders. SCO said the George Delallo Co. will install SCO's Mobile Order on Palm Treo 700wx smart phones carried by its sales force. SCO's Mobile Order is a hosted application that allows wireless access to back-end server inventory data and pricing. The George Delallo Co. is based in Jeannette, Pa., and retails its goods inside Target, Wal-Marts and other national supermarket chains. The SCO Group is headquartered in Lindon, Utah and develops Unix software.
