Saygus Launches Back Into Smartphone Market

South Jordan, Utah-based Saygus is targeting the gadget geek with a new product, called the Saygus V2, which it rolled out this week at the Consumer Electronics Show. The startup--led by Chad Sayers--said its new "super smartphone" includes 3D sound, HD gaming and movie beaming, 320GB of storage capacity, optical image stabilization, 21MP rear camera, 3100 mAH battery, and a laundry list of other high end phone features. The company says it is taking pre-orders now on the phone, and expects to ship devices in early 2015. Saygus previously had developed one of the first Android phones, the VPhone, which never quite made it to market.
