Boulder, Colorado-based Rogue Wave Software, which is a major provider of software development tools for the embedded computing market, said this week that it has linked with the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in a scientific computing deal. According to the two, they are working together to develop software tools which will increase the productivity of software development for scientific computing. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The two said the effort will focus on a technique called "comparitive debugging", which it says helps automate finding hard-to-find bugs.
