The Rockies Venture Club, the angel investment group which is active across Colorado, said this week that an analysis of its portfolio finds that it has 55% of its companies which are either female or minority led. According to the group--which says it has made fifteen investments in the last twelve months--its portfolio mix far exceeds the national average of just 14.4% female or minority led. The club already has a "Biz Girls CEOs Accelerator Program" which focuses on helping female founders. The RVC did not break out the percent female versus percentage minority led in its portfolio.
