Bozeman, Montana-based RightNow Technologies revealed Tuesday that one of its U.S. military customers has upgraded its service from on premise to on demand. The financial impact of the new business was not disclosed. According to RightNow, the U.S. Air Force Personnel Center is replacing its on-premise RightNow customer relationship management solution with RightNow's hosted Department of Defense software-as-a-service offering. RightNow explained that its cloud-based, defense-ready SaaS solution, which was released in April, will help the Air Force Personnel Center achieve increased reliability and a lower cost of ownership. RightNow added that its DoD solution already satisfies several levels of compliance and security requirements.
