Public Engines Inks Strategic Deal with Hitech Systems

Salt Lake City-based Public Engines, operator of the neighborhood watch Web site, revealed Thursday that software developer Hitech Systems has integrated into its flagship applications for law enforcement agencies and emergency services. is a Web-based service that allows law enforcement agencies to inform the public of recent criminal activities. Public Engines said Hitech, by integrating into its SafetyNet CAD and RMS applications, has given its customers the ability to share crime data with their local communities while seamlessly conducting their computer-aided dispatch and records management operations. As part of the partnership, Public Engines said it will offer two free months of service to Hitech customers who register before the end of June.
