A new, Denver company, Pettag+, led by Shahir Ahmed, said today that it is launching a new effort to develop a connected device to track your pet using your smartphone. According to the company, it is in the midst of developing a collar tag which connects pets to a owner's smart phone via Bluetooth, to track training, feeding, and other activity with a pet. The company said it is about to list its project on Indiegogo on June 25th. Ahmed founded CommutePays (rewards program for commuters) and SACOM Direct (telecom consulting). The company did not say how far along with its project it is.
