Otterbox Expands In Ireland

Fort Collins-based Otterbox, the maker of protective cases for consumer electronic devices, said today that it is expanding in Cork, Ireland, as part of an expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). According to the firm, the new office has nine employees, and has a plan to create up to 50 jobs in the location in the next two years. The firm said the new office is part of a plan to establish its presence in the EMEA market. The new office includes sales, accounting, public relations and human resources departments. Otterbox said it has around 230 employees in the U.S.
