OnTerra Launches Web Mapping Product
Denver-based OnTerra Systems, a provider of web mapping software, said today that it has launched a new web mapping service--based on Bing maps--which allows users to capture web images for architecture and engineering drawings, proposals, and reports; utility, transportation, and pipeline planning; and other uses. The firm said it has a license to Bing maps which allows users to capture images for use in documents. The firm said the new service is called MapSavvy WMS, and works with such software as AutoCAD, MapInfo, MicroStation, QGIS, GlobalMapper, and Gaia.
