Orem, Utah-based Omniture today has released the latest version of the company's web analytics software, SiteCatalyst 13. Among the new features of the software, Omniture said that the tool now supports Web 2.0 business optimizations, including the analysis of blogs, rich media, and new dynamic self-search, and profiling tools. The features include the ability to look at user profiles, based on visitor interaction; measurement of engagement rates in rich media and abandonment rates; and measurement of the value and effect of social networking and user-generated content on a web site. The upgraded software also includes a new, online self-service management and configuration tool. Omniture said that the software is available now.
