Orem, Utah-based Omniture, a developer of web optimization and analytics tools, said last week that National Geographic has been using the firm's software to increase its site visits. Business details behind National Geographic's use of Omniture were not released, however Omniture claims that National Geographic has increased its site visits by 150 percent and page views by 155 percent since implementing Omniture products. National Geographic is using Omniture for its paid search and keyword buying efforts.
