Orem, Utah-based Omniture's latest customer of its web testing tools is restaurant site OpenTable, the firm said Tuesday. Omniture, a provider of web analytics and related software, said that OpenTable is using the firm's Test&Target product for optimizing its online content. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. OpenTable is apparently using Omniture's testing tool--used for A/B and other testing of web page designs--to improve relevance and conversion rate of restaurant reservations. OpenTable is also using Omniture's SiteCatalyst tool. OpenTable was previously a Visual Sciences HBX customer, and migrated over to SiteCatalyst after Omniture acquired Visual Sciences in 2007.
