Orem, Utah-based Omniture said Friday morning that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Offermatica, a provider of A/B testing and multivariate testing. The deal is worth $65M. Offermatica's products are used by companies to test the structure of their web sites, and in particular are used for testing different versions of a site for marketing purposes. Omniture said it will add approximately 70 Offermatica personnel as part of the acquisition. The deal consists of $35M in stock plus $30M in cash.
