Boulder-based Occipital, which develops mobile, 3D, panaromic scanning and capture applications, has now raised over $1 million via it Kickstarter project to develop a new, 3D capture sensor. The project--which kicked off in September--is an effort by the company to create an inexpensive, 3D sensor which will allow the iPad and other devices to capture the 3D structure of rooms and objects.
