ObservePoint Targets Marketing Tag Auditing
Orem, Utah-based ObservePoint said this morning that it has launched a new service to help audit online marketing "tags"--those pieces of code which are used by online advertising exchanges and services to track web visitors and analytics. According to the company, it now supports tags from such companies as RichRelevance, Adometry, Monetate, MediaMath, Rubicon, Criteo, Adconion, BlueKai, AdRoll, and RadiumOne, among others, to track what advertising tags are running on their sites and what kind of information is being passed to third parties. Pricing on the web tag auditing product was not announced. ObservePoint was founded by Rob Seolas and John Pestana.
