Denver-based social software provider NewsGator has set a new President and CEO this morning, saying that it has named Daniel Kraft to replace JB Holston in the position. Holston becomes Chairman of the Board of the company. Kraft is founder of ifridge & Company, a strategic consulting and investment firm, which NewsGator said has helped build such companies as Braintribe, Sitrion, and acrolinx. Kraft also has served at Open Text, RedDot Solutions, and Commerzbank Securities. NewsGator develops social networking software specifically aimed at enterprises running Microsoft SharePoint.
