![]() Tuesday, June 24, 2008 Flypaper Studio Sells Services Business Phoenix-based Flypaper Studio, a firm which develops web-based, interactive presentation software, said Tuesday that the firm has soled its e-Learning services business to The GMarie Group. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Flypaper's e-learning services provided Web-based marketing and training content for Fortune 1000 clients, and was originally known as Interactive Alchemy. Overholt replaces Carl Maneri, who is retiring from the firm. Overholt joins the firm from Sequel Venture Partners, where he was for the last 5 years. Overholt has also served at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Aztek Networks is a provider of communications equipment for the emergency services/911 market. Overholt was a Controller at Sequel, which is also an investor in Aztek Networks. posted on Tuesday, June 24, 2008(Full story) Report Details High Tech Employment A report released today by the AeA, a high tech industry trade group, has detailed high tech employment in the region, showing the Denver/Boulder area with the most concentration of high tech jobs in 2006, the latest data available. According to the AeA's Cybercities 2008 report, Boulder/Denver employed 111,100 people in the high tech industry, with 80,500 of those workers in Denver, and 30,500 in Boulder. According to the firm, its new program will give computer repair professionals access to pricing, technical services, and resources from the firm.
