![]() Friday, May 9, 2008 Cleantech Market Grows In Q1 Ernst and Young and Dow Jones VentureOne are reporting that clean technology investments nationwide increased in Q1 of the year, and were up 18% to $571.6M. The firms said the segment saw continued growth, despite an overall drop in the VC markets. Investments were up from the $483.9M invested in the same period in 2007. According to the report, the largest portion of the cleantech investments went to alternative fuels, where $178M was invested int he quarter. StorageCraft said that GHA will offer its software through its nationally expanding network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. StorageCraft develops software used for backing up servers, desktops, and laptops. The firm, which provides business and technology consulting, said it has added Emory Camp as Director of Recruiting and Resource management, and named Brad Younge as a Principal. Camp was most recently at Midwest Consulting Group, General Motors, and Imeedient Corporation; Younge has been at Statera since 2001.
