Colorado Technology Association Crosses The Pond To London Tech Week
The Colorado Technology Association is hoping to create better ties with the technology community in London, with what it says is a "mini trade mission" to London. According to the CTA, a dozen business, government, and nonprofit leaders are in London to promote Denver's "culture of innovation" at the London Tech Week conference, which started yesterday. Local companies involved in the effort included DispatchHealth, RemoteLock, Iterate.ai, Smarter Chaos and The Last Gameboard. Among the executives attending are Jon Nordmark, the CEO of Iterate.ai and co-founder of eBags. The trade mission is being sponsored by British Airways, which covered the cost of flights for the attendees. According to the Colorado Technology Association, those attendees are also meeting with the UK Secretary of State, along with officials from the London Stock Exchange, among other activities.
