NetDocuments Finds Strategic Investment
Lehi, Utah-based NetDocuments, the developer of a cloud-based platform for managing the documents of law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments, has scored a new, strategic funding. According to NetDocuments, it has received a "significant" new equity investment from another private equity investor, Cove Hill Partners. Size and terms of that investment was not announced by the companies. According to NetDocuments, Cove Hill becomes a minority shareholder in the company. NetDocuments is majority owned by another private equity investor, Clearlake Capital. NetDocuments says its software is used by over 2,500 professional services firms and corporate legal departments. Clearlake acquired NetDocuments in 2017.
