Zayo Acquired For $8.2 Billion
Boulder-based bandwidth and colocation provider Zayo Group has been acquired in a giant, $8.2 billion deal, by private equity investor Digital Colony Partners LP and EQT, in a move that will take Zayo off the public markets. The deal is worth $35.00 per share, significantly above Zayo's closing price on Tuesday. Zayo--which trades on the NYSE as ZAYO--said it will continue to be headquartered in Boulder after the acquisition.
