Flyreel Gets $3.85M
Denver-based Flyreel, a provider of artificial intelligence technology for the property insurance industry, has raised $3.85M in a funding round, the company said last week. The funding was led by Gradient Ventures, the AI-focused investment fund run by Google. According to Flywheel, the funding also included State Auto Labs Fund, the corporate venture and innovation arm of State Auto Insurance Companies, and Donan, a leading nationwide forensic investigation firm. Flyreel said the new funding will go to scale its technology. Flyreel's AI software is focused on helping property insurance carriers with capturing and analyzing property inspection information, helping policyholders run through their own property inspections using a smartphone or other mobile device.
