ScaleFactor Opens New Office In Denver
Finance and accounting software startup ScaleFactor is in growth mode, with a new expansion to Denver, Colorado, the company said this morning. According to the Austin, Texas, startup--fresh off a $30M, Series B venture funding round--the second office will help it tap into the tech talent pool in Denver. ScaleFactor said the new office is part of a multi-city growth plan. ScaleFactor's founder and CEO, Kurt Rathmann, is familiar with the Denver market, having been working as a CFO in Denver when he first started working on ScaleFactor. Rathman, in a statement, called Denver "a tech mecca" and said the city has a booming market. The company has set up shop in a building which also includes tech companies Sendgrid, Ibotta, and Greenhouse.io. ScaleFactor just raised a big $30M funding round in February, which came from Bessemer Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Broadhaven Ventures, Firebrand Ventures, and angels.
