Denver-based data center operator
Cologix said on Monday that it has acquired
Metro Optic, a data center operator and infrastructure provider based in Montreal. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to Cologix, the deal gives it data center facilities in both Montreal and Toronto. Cologix said the deal also gives it more than 30 new carriers, as a result of the unique subsea cable routes which go into the Montreal Interconnection hub.
