Techstars Boots Up New Space Accelerator In LA
Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techstars is further expanding its accelerator empire, with another program in Los Angeles, thr group said on Tuesday. According to Techstars and space investment firm Starburst, it is launching the Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator, focused on next generation space technology companies and related frontier technology. The new program will be led by Matt Kozlov, with advice from Van Espahbodi, co-founder and managing director of Starburst. The program said it also has formal sponsorship from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, Maxar Technologies, SAIC, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), and the U.S. Air Force, with support from The Aerospace Corporation.
