Control4 Buys NEEO
Salt Lake City-based smart home products maker Control4 said this week that it acquired Switzerland-based NEEO, a developer of interactive, smart home remote controls. Financial details oft he buy were not announced. Control4 said the acquisition will help it accelerate its efforts to deliver remotes, touch panels, keypads, and other smart home devices. NEEO first started shipping its remote controls in 2016, and was led by Raphael Oberholzer. The company was based in Bern, Switzerland.
