AdvicePay Ups Seed Funding By $2M
Bozeman, Montana-based startup AdvicePay said Wednesday that it has closed on a $2M, crowdfunding "seed extension" funding, for its billing and payments software for financial advisors. The company did not say how many people participated in its seed funding round, which it says came from "within the advisor community". AdvicePay develops billing and payment software specifically for fee-for-service financial advisors. The company said the funds go towards a new enterprise version of its software, and towards growth plans. AdvicePay is led by CEO Alan Moore.
