Foundry Group Backs Startup Studio And Fund High Alpha
Boulder-based venture investor Foundry Group--which has been gradually making more and more investments as a "fund of funds", rather than a direct venture investor--has backed an Indianapolis, Indiana startup venture investor and "startup studio". According to High Alpha on Monday, it has raised over $100M in new funding in its High Alpha Studio II and High Alpha Capital II funds, which are focused on enterprise cloud companies. The funding for startup studio High Alpha Studio II, worth $16.65M, came from Emergence Capital, along with Foundry Group. Boulder's Brad Feld, who is a Partner at Foundry Group, joins the High Alpha board along with Gordon Ritter of Emergence Capital.
