Neighbor Nabs $2.5M To Help Neighbors Store Each Other's Stuff
Salt Lake City-based Neighbor has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, to help neighbors connect with others who might be able to store their extra stuff. According to Neighbor, the seed funding came from Peak Ventures and Pelion Ventures. Neighbor is led by CEO Joseph Woodbury. According to Neighbor, it puts local people in need of storage space in touch with nearby "hosts" who are willing to lease extra storage space in their home or garage. Neighbor said its service will let hosts make "thousands of dollars per year" in residual income through use of their unused storage space.
